The customer was a Russian IT services provider.
The customer wanted to implement a system similar to Twitter. The idea was to create a social media space for individuals specifically interested in stock exchange and investing.
ITM House developed, Stock Talk, a social network platform where users can connect with their similar interests in stock trading and investing.
Stock Talk implemented many challenging and meticulous aspects of popular social media sources, such as:
- The ability to create an account and modify its details
- The ability to make posts, viewable under certain metrics (i.e private, public)
- Communication with others in a chat and the ability to find them through a search
- A rating system for users and a “agree” and “disagree” system for posts
Though Stock Talk had a vivid platform for socializing, it also connected users with information, including trends, market updates, index details, and current stock values. All information was updated in real-time. Users could also attract others in Stock Talk from Facebook and other social platforms to grow their initial network.
