The IndUS Entrepreneurs (TiE) is a Silicon Valley non-profit supporting start-ups through networking and the raising of capital for new and experienced entrepreneurs. TiE Silicon Valley was founded in 1992 by the trio of an Indian-American businessman and angel investor, Kanwal Rekhi; an MIT professor and founder of Cirrus Logic, Suhas Patil; and the founder of Gateway Design Automation, Prabhu Goel. There are currently 11,000 members, including over 2,500 charter members in 60 chapters across 17 countries.
ITMhouse takes honorable place as a partner of TiE Toronto – one the leading chapters within TiE – as well as Fasken, Air Canada, First Angel Capital and so on. TiE Toronto has large number of Charter & Associate Members and conducts around 12 to 15 events a year across multiple topics and the TiE Quest, a business plan competition is annual flagship event.
This year the TiE Quest invited Maxim Galash – Board member of ITMhouse – to be a Judge and Mentor in this start-up competition. Currently ITM House is working with few selected startups.
